Introduction to Belly Dance

In this eight week session, participants will be introduced to many of the isolations, posture, footstep and combinations commonly used and identified in the art form commonly known as belly dance. Gentle yoga practices will help to reduce tension in the body and allow for range of motion needed for the fluid nature of this dance form. Self acceptance and body positivity are positive outcomes in practicing as well as a deepened sense of awareness and coordination.
